Spice Restaurant: Review

We recently visited Spice, a Thai restaurant in NYC, they have many locations.  We went to the location in Union Square, NYC.  We reserved our table on line and had no waiting time.  The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was not only beautiful but also very clean.  At 10 pm, it was packed.  I was glad I had made reservations, since other people were waiting over an hour to be seated.  The food overall was great.  The quality of the ingredients was amazing.  Everything was fresh.  We were a group of 5.  None of us had ever tried thai food before.  I personally didn’t love it.  I appreciated trying something new and was glad that the food was fresh.  Three of the people in my group were crazy for it.  In fact they also finished my food and my other friend’s who wouldn’t even try it once she smelled it.  The whole fish was the best deal, which was my choice except the sauce was too sweet for me.  The fish itself lacked flavor, although there was nothing left of that whole snapper.  We also ordered two vegetarian and two vegan dishes which were all great.  It is a hit or miss but definitely worth a try.  They also have a DJ who played awesome music that night.

I completely recommend at least one visit…  If you do, please let me know what you think.
