Uses of Lemon For Beauty

beauty uses of lemons

Summer’s coming up we as lady creatures want to look amazing at the beach. Some may tan, some may dye their hair and some may party with their summer fling. So people like me who don’t want to spend all that money on beauty cosmetics this review goes out to you. This is a cheap way to look good the dig way. Allow me to introduce you to my yellow friend from my refrigerator, LEMON!!!!!!

One may ask “Why Lemons”?

Let me fill in the gaps… Lemon is a no brainer natural beauty product. The best thing is that for the most part its under $5 all the time, plus you can make it fresh within 10 min or less.

Beauty Uses of Lemon Juice

You can put drops of lemon juice into your hair everyday and sit out in the beautiful sun for 25 minutes and wash as you normally do. Keep on doing this until you reached the shade you like.

For boring hair you can make this mask: 3/4 cup of olive oil with 1/2 cup of honey and 3 tablespoons of lemon juice, then massage this mixture after you wash your hair.  Comb it into your hair, sit in a plastic cap for a half-hour, then shampoo and rinse it away again to achieve the softer and smoother hair.

Remove blackheads by massaging the lemon juice to the skin before you go to bed.

Can be used as a skin brightener

If you have dry skin then make this mask: mix lemon, honey and olive oil

If you have oily skin: mix 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, 2 tablespoons of vodka, 1 tablespoon of distilled water, and a teaspoon of witch hazel (to apply use cotton balls and rinse, plus if you have leftovers then keep it in your fridge tops one week until that oiliness goes away)

If you always wanted to make a exfoliator then, just mix lemon and sugar and rub onto the skin (which btw helps with removing dead skin cells).

Lemon juice can also be used as an alternative to chemical teeth whiteners ,the acidic fruit enzymes included can fight off yellowing easily: just slice a lemon in half, rub it in table salt and baking soda, then gently scrub your teeth with it. This is a great way to cure bad breath too while you’re polishing those pearly whites!

Now you can step away from those over-priced products. Enjoy!
